Tina married her high school sweetheart, Richard, but was abandoned when she became pregnant. Richard, from a wealthy family, showed his true colors by kicking her out, saying, “The only reason we are together is so I can get some space from the family I already have!” He locked her out of their apartment, leaving Tina to raise their son, Greg, alone.
Greg grew up to be a hardworking and successful man, but he harbored deep anger toward his father. Despite his success, the pain of his father’s abandonment lingered. When Greg finally tracked down Richard, he found him old, frail, and in debt. Instead of seeking revenge, Greg chose to show compassion.
Greg purchased his father’s foreclosed house and confronted him, repeating Richard’s own harsh words: “If I see you again, we’ll have a problem!” Richard left in shame, a stark reminder that actions have lasting consequences.
