Poor Janitor Buys Old Doll at Flea Market, Gives it to Child & Hears Crackling Sound from It

I BOUGHT AN OLD DOLL AT FLEA MARKET & HEARD CRACKLING SOUND FROM INSIDE

When I spotted the doll at the flea market, I just knew it would be the perfect birthday present for my daughter, Eve. Money had been tight, so shopping at the flea market seemed the best option. This doll wasn’t brand new, but it had charm, and I knew Eve would love it.

As I was about to hand it over to her, a strange crackling sound came from inside the doll, and I stopped, confused. I hesitated.

“What on earth was that?” I muttered under my breath.

“Mommy! Give it here! I wanna hold my doll! Please! Please!” Eve begged, practically bouncing in excitement.

“Just a second, honey,” I said, shaking the doll gently and bringing it close to my ear. “I think there’s something inside it…”

I gave the doll another shake, hoping it was nothing, but my curiosity was piqued. I couldn’t just give it to her without checking first.
